I Can Dream Anything!

Introduction:

You really can DREAM anything. This lesson is based on the song, "I Can Do Anything." You will discover that you can do many different things, but you can't do them all! Choices have to be made!

Task:

In this lesson you will:

  • Discover that people make choices because they cannot produce everything they want to consume; they must specialize in something..
  • Name several service occupations in the community.

Process:

A service is something someone does for you or someone else. Do you get your hair cut by a barber? Have you ever had a plumber at your house? Do you know someone who likes to teach? Those are people who perform a service!

Most people like lots of jobs. They may want to be a pilot, a doctor, a dentist, a rodeo performer, or a veterinarian. But it is better for the whole community if you just make a choice between all those jobs! That is called SPECIALIZATION. It means you have a job that matches your skills and strengths! doctor
