Description

Latin America is an economically diverse region stretching from the US border with Mexico to the “End of the World” in Tierra del Fuego.

This session will focus on a sampling of current economic issues: demographic changes as people move from rural areas to cities and across borders throughout South, Central and North America, and changing economic policies in Argentina and Brazil, as the two largest countries in South America take different paths (free market vs. government control).
