Kim Sosin is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Nebraska Omaha. She retired in 2006 as the Noddle Distinguished Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics at UNO. She was also co-Director of the UNO Center for Economic Education for 20 years. Kim has published and presented nationally and internationally numerous papers on the scholarship of teaching and learning economics. She was the founding associate editor of the online section of the Journal of Economic Education and served as the associate editor from 2000 to 2008. She was the first official chair of the technology committee for the National Association of Economic Educators and a member of its Executive Board. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Council on Economic Education. She has received the Bessie Moore National Award for Service to Economic Education and the Henry Villard National Research Award for Economic Education Research.
